Based on the 1981 Broadway musical comes Dreamgirls, a story of greed, tough hate, and romance. Three young women - Deena Jones, Effie White, and Lorrell Robinson - desire to become pop stars and get their wish when they’re picked to be backup singers for the legendary James “Thunder” Early. Then they’re set free for leads, but Curtis Taylor and Effie’s brother C.C. decide for Deena to be lead which upsets Effie.

Captain Baron von Trapp is a widowed ex-naval officer with seven children who serve only to remind him of his deceased wife. He attends the official opening of the store amidst protests from the local community of atrocities carried out on chickens, and the Indian burial grounds’ desecration. In August of 1940 in the English village of Pepperinge Eye, three cockney orphans are sent to live with Eglantine Price, who is studying to become an apprentice witch. When she receives a letter from the Correspondence College of Witchcraft in London, she and the children fly on a bed (by way of a magic bedknob) to London to meet the headmaster of the defunct school, Emelius Brown.
