Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan team up for the Warner Bros. police buddy movie Cop Out in this Kevin Smith-directed production. From a script by Robb and Mark Cullen, the picture focuses on a detective duo who investigate the disappearance of a baseball card.

George and Nina seem like the perfect couple. They share a cozy Brooklyn apartment, a taste for tuna casserole dinners, and a devotion to ballroom dancing. They love each other. There’s only one hitch: George is gay. And when Nina announces she’s pregnant, things get especially complicated. Vince - Nina’s overbearing boyfriend and the baby’s father-wants marriage. Nina wants independence. George will do anything for a little unqualified affection, but is he ready to become an unwed surrogate dad?

In the mid-70s, surfers from Venice-Santa Monica who hung out at the Zephyr Surf Shop would skateboard when the surf was quiet. Over the course of a few heady years, riding on polyurethane wheels and copying the surfing moves of Larry Bertleman, the Z-Boys invent and polish their style on a hilly street near the shop, on the asphalt slopes ringing school playgrounds, and then in swimming pools empty during California’s drought. The Z-Boys astound upright skateboarders at the 1975 championship in Del Mar. Within a year, the team splinters as some players join better financed pro teams. The film ends with profiles of the stars, Jay Adams, Stacy Peralta, and Tony Alva.

A demonic racecar driver returns from the dead to seek revenge against his former rival. Seventeen years ago, Cutter McCullough and JJ Sawyer were burning rubber on the tracks when McCullough perished in a fiery crash. In the aftermath of that accident, Sawyer was riddled with survivor’s guilt, and vowed never to race again. An impressive roster of experts is assembled to provide a generally withering commentary on the quality of evidence and possible motivations of the Neo-conservatives who provided the momentum and muscle behind America’s venture into preemptive war. Among them are veteran CIA analysts and operatives, military officers, diplomats, politicians, arms inspectors, and U.S. and British government officials. The fig leaf of the possibility of an honest mistake on the matter of WMDs is stripped away; what is left is the stark and disturbing anatomy of deliberate deceit.

Based on the novel by Carolina Garcia-Aguilera, One Hot Summer sizzles with the ups and downs of three Cuban-American women who always support each other in good times and in bad. Margarita Silva Santos (Vanessa Marcil), Viviana Suarez (Jacqueline Pinol), and Anabel Aguilera (Tessie Santiago) have been best friends for most of their lives. They live in Miami and meet frequently for lunch to share their ups and downs. Margarita is a high powered attorney who just made partner in her law firm. Viviana goes by the name “Vivian” in her job and resists her Latina roots. She has lightened her hair and wants to hide her ethnicity. And Anabel is a full time mother.

Sam Crain, a professional model, is asked by her sister to smuggle a package from Europe to Portland Oregon, where she discovers that her sister is battling Chinese Shaolin Monks (not ninjas!). Fleeing the monks, Sam unwittingly involves Ed “Brainsmasher” Molloy, a nightclub bouncer.

A freewheeling, demented, dark comedy about the modern world, in which six men and women, fed up with the abuse they suffer in their “normal” lives, seek “asylum” as inmates of a mental institution. They’ve all heard about a place up on the hill with an exclusive treatment program; now each of them is out to show just how mad they can be when electro-shock treatment and a comfy bed with a doting nurse has become the perfect alternative to life on the outside. But the asylum has its own unexpected agenda; for a start, due to a massive influx of patients, there is only one bed left. As the characters are made to compete against each other for this spot, it becomes clear that this is no ordinary institution.
